The Columbia University Irving Medical Center is a member of the CTSA consortium through the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (The Irving Institute). The focus of the Irving Institute is to transform the way clinical and translational research is conducted, enabling medical investigators to develop new treatments faster, and to deliver those treatments to patients more efficiently and more effectively. Faculty funded by the Irving Institute provide leadership and serve as mentors for both junior faculty and trainees, thus enabling our tradition of excellence to continue.
